I believe the greatest thing I have learned this semester is familiarization with certain key software such as Photoshop, Dreamweaver, and Flash. I focused more on Flash and Photoshop as these will be two programs I will be using greatly in the feature and I am thankful that my professor, Jennifer Curtiss, did an amazing job in explaining the basic ins and outs. I do feel my greatest accomplishment was furthering my knowledge in adobe Flash, which I wouldn't have been able to do without the video project to give me motivation to push myself further than the curriculum. My greatest challenge was web design, but after observing several aesthetically pleasing websites, I'm sure my knowledge of creating pleasantly presented websites will increase with my knowledge of Dreamweaver.

I learned several new ways to make websites during the small portion of this course. While I did have some previous experience in Microsoft Frontpage, Dreamweaver was almost a whole different ball game. I learned how to interact and import css, choose colors, and import pre-made templates.
I've yet to come far with my website so I have not found much rewarding thing yet. Frustrations though, I've encountered a whole lot of them. Mostly alignment not working properly, the lack of coding knowledge to make more sophisticated and complex websites, also the lack of ideas that sometimes happens.
Next time I start building a site, I'll be sure to design and concept the website before jump in and start working on it cold turkey.

For my website, the main design I'd like to achieve is a hub page that branches into three different parts of the website. One showcasing and explaining animation, one showcasing art, and one for personal posts. The hub will be composed of three buttons and a background while the other pages will follow a blog like format for now.
Website Crunch
Web design seems to be both simplistic and complicated from what I've gleamed. You an create simple pages and websites with nothing more than notepad and a knowledge of html, or you can take it a step further and use software such as frontpage or dreamweaver. You can even mix in scripting from different languages ranging from Java to Perl in your website as well for more features to database management. Html is mostly composed of tags that are contained within <>. They are also composed of cascading style sheets which govern the appearance of the website.

Today's lesson was a skim over some of Photoshop's features and image manipulation options. The lesson ranged from resolutions to contrast and exporting types in Photoshop. It was very informative, especially with some of the image effects possible. For now, my objective is to experiment with brushes in Photoshop.

THIS SUMMER I LEARNED HOW TO TYPE USING ALL CAPS.
I visited Jordan this summer to sit with my family. I pretty much sat down for a good two months visiting the local places and talking with my various cousins that also live there. It was pretty fun meeting my parents again after a while. I also got to eat lots of falaffel and shawerma.
