I have finally finished my Capstone IMED course as of today. As of the last update, I have done several projects that include designing a poster to filming a video.

I have learned more intricacies of photoshop and will hopefully be able to carry these skills with me into the future.

I believe the greatest thing I have learned this semester is familiarization with certain key software such as Photoshop, Dreamweaver, and Flash. I focused more on Flash and Photoshop as these will be two programs I will be using greatly in the feature and I am thankful that my professor, Jennifer Curtiss, did an amazing job in explaining the basic ins and outs. I do feel my greatest accomplishment was furthering my knowledge in adobe Flash, which I wouldn't have been able to do without the video project to give me motivation to push myself further than the curriculum. My greatest challenge was web design, but after observing several aesthetically pleasing websites, I'm sure my knowledge of creating pleasantly presented websites will increase with my knowledge of Dreamweaver.

The former was my instructional video concerning Adobe Flash player and various animation techniques used within it.

For the current video assignment, I'm planning to do a frame by frame video showing 'steps' into getting into a college and university. I plan for this video to be humorous yet be able to offer sound advice at the same time. The frames will be simple and hand-drawn.

I learned several new ways to make websites during the small portion of this course. While I did have some previous experience in Microsoft Frontpage, Dreamweaver was almost a whole different ball game. I learned how to interact and import css, choose colors, and import pre-made templates.

I've yet to come far with my website so I have not found much rewarding thing yet. Frustrations though, I've encountered a whole lot of them. Mostly alignment not working properly, the lack of coding knowledge to make more sophisticated and complex websites, also the lack of ideas that sometimes happens.

Next time I start building a site, I'll be sure to design and concept the website before jump in and start working on it cold turkey.
